Young Kings is entering an exciting growth phase.

We have built a strong reputation amongst professional academies in London for developing talented young players and creating genuine academy pathways.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for like minded coaches to take ownership of one of our age groups and become an integral part of the next chapter of Young Kings.

This is an A to Z role. You will be responsible for your age group both on and off the pitch.

THE ROLE

As Head Coach, you will take ownership of an allocated Young Kings age group.

You will lead everything from training and player development through to administration, communication and matchday management.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering weekly training sessions
• Managing the development of every player within your group
• Preparing teams and players for fixtures
• Taking full responsibility for matchday coaching
• Managing squad selection and player rotation
• Organising fixtures and maintaining communication with opposition clubs
• Managing attendance, availability and other age group administration
• Communicating effectively with parents
• Tracking player progress and identifying areas for development
• Working alongside the wider YK coaching team
• Upholding the standards, values and YK DNA within your group
• Representing Young Kings professionally at fixtures, tournaments and academy games

You will effectively become the owner of your age group, with the support of the wider Young Kings setup.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for coaches who genuinely care about developing young footballers and want responsibility rather than simply turning up to coach.

You should have:

• Experience coaching young players
• Strong technical and tactical knowledge
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• The ability to manage both players and parents
• High standards and attention to detail
• A development first mentality
• The confidence to take responsibility and make decisions
• A genuine desire to improve yourself as a coach

Most importantly, you need to be like minded.

We are building something at Young Kings and want coaches who believe in the same principles.
