Head-Communication Design

Role & responsibilities

Head Communication Design shall be responsible for developing and implementing the institutions overall communication design strategy, brand identity, and visual communication standards. The role involves leading the conceptualization and execution of creative designs for digital platforms, social media, advertisements, brochures, prospectuses, campaigns, and other promotional materials. The incumbent shall ensure consistent branding, creative excellence, and effective visual storytelling across all institutional communications. The position requires close coordination with Marketing, Admissions, Outreach, and Academic teams to support institutional visibility, brand positioning, and student recruitment. The incumbent shall lead and mentor the design team, leverage AI-enabled design tools and emerging technologies, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs. The role also includes managing design projects, budgets, external agencies, quality control, and performance monitoring to achieve organizational objectives

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Communication Design, Visual Communication, Communication Arts, or a related discipline from a recognised university/institute.
• Candidates with qualifications from reputed design institutes such as NID, NIFT, IITs, or equivalent institutions will be preferred.
• Proven experience in managing design teams, developing brand communication strategies, and executing integrated print and digital campaigns.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, and relevant AI-based design tools.
• Strong creative vision, visual storytelling, and brand management capabilities
