Earthy Picks Vegan is looking for a strong, reliable, and positive Head Cook/Kitchen Leader to join our team full time. We are a fast-paced vegan café in Downtown Orlando focused on high-quality plant-based food, consistency, teamwork, and great energy.

This is not just a “cook” position — we are looking for someone who leads by example, takes ownership, and genuinely cares about the success of the business, the kitchen, and the team.

• Previous kitchen experience required
• Leadership and team management skills
• Strong sense of urgency and organization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Someone who acts like an owner and takes pride in their work
• Passion for wellness, food quality, and customer experience
• Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented
• Open availability preferred
• Vegan/plant-based knowledge is a plus (but willingness to learn is most important)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all dishes according to the recipe book, ensuring consistent quality, flavor, and presentation.
• Lead daily kitchen operations and support the BOH team
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times
• Manage prep lists, inventory, ordering awareness, and kitchen efficiency
• Help reduce waste and control food costs
• Support training and accountability within the kitchen team
• Communicate effectively with FOH to ensure smooth service
• Maintain a positive, respectful, team-oriented environment
• Assist with scheduling, systems, and operational improvements when needed
• Help uphold the culture and vision of Earthy Picks
