HEAD COURIER

About the role

As the Head Courier for ABest Express Inc., you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of couriers to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of parcels and packages throughout the Tacloban City Leyte region. This is a full-time position that will require you to oversee all courier operations and ensure exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate the daily activities of a team of couriers, including scheduling, route planning, and performance monitoring
• Liaise with customers to address any delivery issues or concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the company's delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of the courier team and the public
• Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to identify and implement process improvements
• Provide regular reports on the team's performance and make recommendations for improvements

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a courier or logistics management role
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in route planning and scheduling to ensure efficient delivery operations
• Knowledgeable in vehicle maintenance and safety protocols
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Familiarity with the Tacloban City Leyte region and its delivery routes
