Position: Head Design & Creative Direction

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Creative Direction
Establish unified design vision across retail environments, wayfinding systems, and
manufactured fixtures
Drive innovation integrating architectural design with custom furniture and fixture capabilities
Collaborate with senior leadership to align design strategy with business growth objectives

Project Leadership & Execution
Oversee complex projects from concept to completion, including space design, custom
fixtures, and manufacturing coordination
Manage multiple high-profile projects ensuring seamless integration of design to
manufacturing
Lead client presentations and develop compelling design narratives that showcase our
integrated capabilities
Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, designers, manufacturers, and
installation specialists
Design Excellence & Manufacturing Integration
Develop innovative retail environments that seamlessly integrate custom-manufactured
fixtures and furniture
Create comprehensive wayfinding and environmental graphic solutions optimized for
manufacturing processes
Ensure design compliance with accessibility standards, building codes, and manufacturing
specifications
Optimize designs for cost-effective production while maintaining premium quality standards
Team Development & Capability Building
Lead and mentor design teams across conceptual design, technical development, and
manufacturing coordination
Build design standards that leverage our integrated design-manufacturing capabilities
Foster collaboration between creative teams and manufacturing specialists
Develop talent across retail design, fixture development, and project management
Technology & Innovation
Master advanced design tools: Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, AI Tools, 3DS Max, SketchUp,
AutoCAD, and manufacturing software
Champion digital transformation in design processes and client presentations
Stay current with retail design trends, manufacturing technologies, and sustainable practices
Drive innovation in custom fixture design and manufacturing processes

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience
Bachelors/Masters in Architecture, Product Design, or related field
10-12 years in Wayfinding, environmental graphics design, product design and space planning.
4+ years in senior creative leadership roles
Experience in Manufacturing organization (wayfinding signages, fixture design, production
coordination, or furniture development) highly preferred

Technical Expertise

Advanced proficiency in design software and manufacturing coordination tools
Strong understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, and manufacturing processes
Knowledge of retail fixture design, furniture development, and production workflows
Expertise in Indian building codes, accessibility standards, and manufacturing regulations
Core Competencies
Exceptional creative vision with practical manufacturing knowledge
Strong business acumen understanding designs impact on production efficiency
Good communication skills with ability to engage clients and coordinate with team.
Proven project management expertise across design and manufacturing phases
Experience in retail brand integration and customer experience design

Portfolio Requirements
