Head Ecommerce

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly driven E-Commerce Head with extensive experience in Amazon Marketplace (AMS), Amazon Seller Central, and marketplace business expansion. The candidate will be responsible for driving online sales growth, managing marketplace profitability, scaling advertising performance, and onboarding new marketplaces to expand the brand's digital presence.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute long-term e-commerce growth strategy aligned with business objectives.
Identify new digital channels, partnerships, and innovations to expand market reach.
Lead cross-functional collaboration between marketing, supply chain, and product teams.
Marketplace Excellence
Manage end-to-end operations across ecommerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Tatacliq, etc.).
Oversee product listings, catalogue management, and content optimization.
Manage end-to-end marketplace operations including listings, cataloguing, pricing, promotions, and inventory
Monitor marketplace performance metrics and improve conversion rates.

Amazon Marketplace & AMS (Mandatory)
Expert-level knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central.
Manage and optimize Amazon Marketing Services (AMS) campaigns:

• Sponsored Products
• Sponsored Brands
• Sponsored Display
• DSP Campaigns

Improve ROAS, ACOS, TACOS and overall advertising efficiency.
Drive keyword strategy, competitor benchmarking and category growth initiatives.
Coordinate with Amazon account managers to secure visibility programs and growth opportunities.

New Marketplace Onboarding & Expansion
Identify and onboard new marketplaces and quick commerce platforms.
Launch and manage product catalogues across new channels.
Negotiate commercial terms and marketing opportunities with marketplace partners.
Develop channel-specific growth strategies.

Sales & Revenue Growth
Drive monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Plan major sale events:

• Amazon Great Indian Festival
• Prime Day
• Flipkart Big Billion Days
• Seasonal & Brand Campaigns

Improve conversion rates, buy-box ownership and organic ranking.

Analytics & Business Intelligence
Monitor key metrics:

• GMV
• Net Sales
• ROAS
• ACOS
• TACOS
• Contribution Margin
• Inventory Health
• Customer Acquisition Cost

Build dashboards and MIS reports for leadership reviews.
Use data-driven insights to improve marketplace performance.

Team Leadership
Lead and mentor E-Commerce Executives and Marketplace Specialists.
Coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service teams.
Establish KPIs and performance goals for team members.

Qualifications:
9+ years of E-Commerce Marketplace experience.
Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in Amazon Marketplace & AMS.
Strong understanding of Amazon algorithms, SEO, content optimization and PPC advertising.
Experience in onboarding and scaling new marketplaces.
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel.
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
