Head Grill Chef

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Grill Chef to join our kitchen team at a busy Italian restaurant in Glasgow City Centre

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and grilling meat, fish and other dishes
• Ensuring high-quality food preparation and consistent standards
• Monitoring cooking temperatures and cooking times
• Preparing ingredients and organising your workstation
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Working efficiently during busy service periods
• Working closely with the Head Chef and the wider kitchen team

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience as a Grill Chef or in a similar kitchen role
• Has good knowledge of preparing and cooking meat and fish
• Can work efficiently under pressure
• Is punctual, reliable and hardworking
• Works well as part of a team
• Takes pride in the quality and presentation of food
• Has good organisation and time-management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £17.00 per hour
