We’re Rowes Retreats, a family run holiday let and property management company based in Penryn. We look after beautiful homes around Falmouth and we’re known for warm, personal service and consistently high standards.

We’re looking for Head Housekeeper's to oversee our housekeeping team and make sure every property is signed off to a brilliant standard after each changeover. This is a hands on role for someone who’s organised, proactive, calm under pressure and genuinely proud of a job done properly.

Hours

Monday- Sunday

12pm to 5pm

What you’ll be doing

Signing off each property after housekeeping has completed a changeover

Using a clear checklist to make sure standards are consistent and high every time

Supporting and overseeing the housekeeping team day to day

Helping keep everyone happy, supported and organised

Planning and coordinating the team’s schedule and time across the week

Being the main point of contact for quality and standards

Training and onboarding new housekeepers over time, showing what “Rowes standard” looks like in real life

Flagging any issues early and helping solve them quickly and kindly

What we’re looking for

Proactive and naturally organised

High attention to detail, you notice the small things that make a home feel special

Great communication skills, supportive with the team and confident giving clear feedback

Proud of beautiful homes and creating a five star feel

Motivated and reliable, someone we can trust to lead by example

Housekeeping experience is helpful but not essential, we care more about mindset, standards and consistency

Must have

Full UK driving licence and confidence driving to properties in and around the Falmouth area
