Duties

• Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure efficient cleaning and maintenance of all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and sanitation procedures aligned with safety regulations and industry best practices
• Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service excellence
• Monitor cleanliness standards regularly through inspections and audits, addressing any deficiencies promptly
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens to optimize resources and reduce waste
• Enforce safety regulations and sanitation policies to maintain a safe working environment for all staff
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest or client experiences

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management with demonstrated supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, industrial cleaning methods, and safety regulations
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse staff members effectively
• Exceptional communication skills for managerial oversight, staff training, and customer service interactions
• Experience in managing janitorial operations, laundry services, and sanitation management systems
• Ability to develop operational procedures that enhance efficiency while maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
