Role & responsibilities

1. Industrial & Labor Relations

• Maintain harmonious employee relations and a positive work culture across the plant floor.
• Handle grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and worker committee
• Ensure strict adherence to labor laws, factory acts, and statutory compliances.

2. Plant Administration & Facility Management

• Oversee day-to-day plant administration, security services, housekeeping, canteen operations, transport, and PG management.
• Manage facility maintenance vendor contracts and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Ensure robust plant safety protocols are implemented in coordination with the EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) team.

3. Talent Management & Employee Lifecycle

• Manage plant-level recruitment for blue-collar and white-collar workforce requirements in coordination with department heads.
• Oversee onboarding, induction, training and development, and employee engagement activities.
• Manage attendance, payroll inputs, performance appraisals, and retention strategies for the plant.

4. Statutory Compliance & Audits

• Ensure 100% compliance with local, state, and central labor regulations (e.g., Factories Act, PF, ESI, Minimum Wages, Gratuity, Bonus, etc.).
• Manage & Act as the primary point of contact for external audits, labor inspections, and government authorities.
