Head Information Technology manager

Role & responsibilities.

• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, cybersecurity, and system administration.
• Lead IT teams, manage resources, and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, software licensing, and technology procurement.
• Ensure data security, regulatory compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Drive digital transformation, system upgrades, automation, and technology integration.
• Monitor IT performance, resolve critical technical issues, and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with senior management and business stakeholders on technology investments and risk management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: 5 to 10 years in IT, including relevant team leadership or IT management experience.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
• Technical skills: IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and IT service management.
• Leadership skills: Team management, strategic planning, decision-making, budgeting, and stakeholder management.
• Certifications: ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CISM, or cloud certifications are advantageous, depending on the role.
• Industry experience: Experience managing IT operations, infrastructure, and technology projects in medium to large organisations.
• Location: Willingness to work in the UAE, with knowledge of UAE data protection and regulatory requirements preferred.
• Communication: Strong English communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
