SWEATFORM Pilates is looking for an experienced Head Instructor & Instructor Manager to join our growing team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pilates instructor who is ready to take the next step into leadership and management while staying actively involved in the Pilates world.

The Head Instructor & Instructor Manager will oversee our instructor team, manage the instructor schedule, support instructor training and development, and take ownership of special projects related to studio growth and operations. You will also continue teaching regular Reformer Pilates classes.

Our studio and team are growing, and there is significant room for this position to grow into additional leadership and management responsibilities over time.

What You'll Do

Instructor & Schedule Management

• Own and manage the instructor schedule
• Manage instructor availability, scheduling, substitutions, and class coverage
• Oversee all instructor-related aspects of the studio schedule
• Serve as a primary point of contact for the instructor team
• Communicate schedule changes, expectations, and studio updates
• Help ensure classes are consistently staffed and running smoothly
• Emergency sub classes in the event of instructor emergency

Instructor Leadership & Development

• Help onboard and train new instructors
• Mentor and support instructors as they grow
• Provide coaching and constructive feedback
• Help maintain consistent teaching standards across the studio
• Assist with instructor education, trainings, and workshops
• Help develop systems and processes as the instructor team grows
• Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative team culture

Studio Growth & Special Projects

• Take ownership of special projects related to instructor training, studio operations, and growth
• Work closely with studio leadership to implement new initiatives
• Help create systems that allow the instructor team and studio to scale
• Identify opportunities to improve the instructor and client experience
• Take on additional leadership responsibilities as the studio continues to grow

Requirements

Required

• Completion of an industry-recognized Pilates Mat and Reformer certification/training program
• Minimum 1 year of Pilates teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of Pilates fundamentals, anatomy, alignment, and modifications
• Excellent communication and cueing skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Very open availability, but the work is very flexible in terms of schedule!
• Reliable, professional, and proactive
• Ability to teach a variety of client experience levels

Preferred

• Previous management or leadership experience
• Experience managing schedules or teams
• Experience training, mentoring, or onboarding employees
• Additional experience in Pilates, fitness, wellness, hospitality, or another client-focused industry

You don't need to have years of management experience—we're open to someone who has demonstrated leadership potential and is ready to grow into management. However, previous management or leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Most importantly, you should genuinely love Pilates and want to build a long-term career in the Pilates and fitness industry.

Schedule & Flexibility

This position requires very open availability to effectively manage the instructor schedule and respond to the needs of a growing studio.

At the same time, the position offers a high level of flexibility and autonomy. This is not a traditional 9–5 position. Your time will be divided between teaching, scheduling, team communication, trainings, administrative work, meetings, and special projects.

We are looking for someone who can be flexible when the studio needs them while also managing their own time and responsibilities independently.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
