Head Janitor

• Assign janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspect their work to ensure that
• established standards are met
• • Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to janitorial staff as needed. Taking
• inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and informing management
• when supplies are depleted
• • Assist recruiting department with staffing needs
  • Provide training and guidance to janitorial staff.
  • Resolve conflicts between janitorial staff in an efficient manner
  • Attend meetings and in-service training sessions as required.
  • Perform all janitorial duties necessary and cover when short-staffed
• Perform additional services like carpet extractions and floor maintenance
• • Monitor staff attendance and report absences.
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork, including but not limited to quality
  • reports, signoffs, and summary sheets.
  • Make recommendations to upper management regarding promotions transfers
• and dismissals.
• • Maintain quality standards
• Investigate and resolve clients’ complaints of missed or improperly cleaned
• areas.
• • Overtime may be required, including extra hours, weekends and holidays as needed.

• • Assist with the completion of additional work orders if necessary
• Flexible schedule is a must. Schedule changes based on needs

Monday - Friday 8 hours per day from 10:00am to 7:00pm (1 hour of unpaid lunch included)
Fringe Rate: $5.55
