Head of Academy and Training Development

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Academy to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of learning and development standards across our F&B business.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the Academy strategy and employee competency-development roadmap
• Develop and ensure consistent implementation of F&B training modules, SOPs, and operational standards
• Build onboarding, refresher, leadership-development, and certification programs
• Improve service, product, and operational quality through measurable training initiatives
• Collaborate closely with Operations and HR to support business growth
• Lead and develop a team of trainers, supporting employees from crew to management level
• Conduct training needs analysis and measure training effectiveness

About you

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Head of Training or Training Manager in the F&B, hospitality, or retail F&B industry
• BNSP Train of Trainer certification is mandatory
• Strong end-to-end understanding of F&B operations, including service excellence, product knowledge, hygiene and sanitation, food safety, and outlet SOPs
• Proven experience in developing curricula, training modules, onboarding programs, and employee competency assessments
• Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and leadership skills
• Additional certifications or training in HACCP, food safety, hygiene and sanitation, barista, culinary, or service excellence are a plus
