Head of AI Solutions (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Head of AI Solutions to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will shape how the organization turns AI opportunities into practical, scalable solutions that create measurable business value. You will lead a technical team focused on solution design, intake, prioritization, and delivery across multiple initiatives. The position requires strong collaboration with business partners and technical stakeholders to convert ambiguous requests into clear architectures, plans, and executable workstreams.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $235,000 – $350,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a technical team of AI solutions engineers and data engineers.
• Own the intake and prioritization process for AI projects.
• Transform requests into actionable build plans with clear architecture and scope.
• Staff and manage virtual build pods for concurrent initiatives.
• Set and maintain high technical standards for architecture and implementation.
• Deliver projects, ensuring clean handoffs and reusable solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in designing, building, or deploying production systems, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience with LLM-based or agentic solutions from discovery to production.
• Background in leading solutions architecture or applied AI teams across multiple business units.
• Strong skills in technical scoping and estimation for ambiguous requests.
• Knowledge of agent and tool orchestration, data modeling, and cloud deployment.
• Experience in hiring and developing senior AI and engineering talent.
