Role Description The Head of Artificial Intelligence is a full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis. This position is responsible for defining and leading the AI vision and strategy, aligning it with overall business goals and product roadmaps. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing the design and implementation of AI models, guiding research and experimentation, and directing teams working on NLP, computer vision, and data-driven solutions. The role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to integrate AI features into SaaS offerings, establishing best practices for model deployment and monitoring, and ensuring ethical and compliant use of AI technologies. The Head of Artificial Intelligence will also mentor team members, build organizational AI capabilities, and represent the AI function in executive discussions and external partnerships.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, with experience in software engineering and scalable system design.
• Expertise in Data Science, including statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Pattern Recognition techniques and applications for real-world problem solving.
• Advanced knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), including language models and text analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Computer Vision, image processing, and deep learning frameworks.
• Proven track record leading AI or ML teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
• Experience deploying AI solutions in production environments, ideally within SaaS products.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and ML operations (MLOps) practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is preferred.
