Head Of Construction

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for construction execution across multiple projects.
• Own project planning, execution, timelines, cost, quality, safety and final handover.
• Lead Project Heads, construction teams, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, critical paths, budgets, resources and execution risks.
• Drive contractor and vendor management, commercial control and productivity.
• Ensure projects are executed as per approved designs, specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to statutory, safety and compliance requirements.
• Identify project bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to maintain timelines.
• Establish construction processes, reporting systems and performance benchmarks.
• Work closely with promoters and senior leadership on project strategy and key decisions.
• Lead and mentor large construction teams across multiple projects.

Ideal Candidate

• 20+ years of overall experience with significant senior leadership exposure.
• Strong background in large-scale real estate developers(Preferred), infrastructure or property development.
• Should have handled multiple projects simultaneously and large construction teams.
• Strong experience in end-to-end project execution from planning through completion/handover.
• Strong understanding of project planning, cost, quality, safety, contractor management and execution.
• Should be comfortable interacting directly with promoters and senior management.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
