Role

The Head of Distribution will lead, coach, and develop the organisation’s Financial Advisers across life, health, disability insurance, and KiwiSaver. The focus is on driving sales performance, achieving targets, improving adviser capability, and delivering sustainable business growth.

You will oversee adviser performance, provide ongoing mentoring, and support, and build a high-performing culture focused on accountability, productivity, and positive customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Financial Advisers.
• Drive sales performance and target achievement.
• Monitor performance and address underperformance.
• Improve adviser productivity and business growth.
• Strengthen adviser engagement and retention.
• Ensure compliance and positive customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience in financial services, insurance or sales leadership.
• Proven ability to coach and develop advisers or sales teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and a track record of achieving targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage performance and drive accountability.
• Understanding of New Zealand financial services regulation and advice requirements.
