Head of Engineering - Risk Technology

Our client, an Australian Global Banking firm, is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to run financial risk technology - this role is based in Sydney, and offers an excellent family relocation package.

• Interested in candidates who have extensive experience in managing large teams of Engineers (30+)
• Leading greenfield platform rebuilds of critical systems which are 15+ years old
• MUST have significant experience of at least one of Market, Credit or Traded Risk, with front office exposure
• MUST come from a very strong Engineering background, this is not for a non-technical person. Must be able to get stuck into the detail, with a hands-on coding background
• Should be able to play a lead role in introducing AI-assisted development practices into the team
• Director level compensation with good bonus, benefits etc.
