SROTAS HEALTH
Head of Growth | US Market
Remote – US-based · Base + Commission + Equity · Member of the Executive Team · Path to CRO
WHY WE EXIST
When a close family member was diagnosed with cancer, we spent months trying to find a suitable clinical trial. There was one, but we couldn't find it in time. The platform that should have connected that patient to that trial did not exist. We built Srotas to close that gap because it was personal.
80% of clinical trials are delayed because sites cannot identify the right patients fast enough. Behind every delayed trial is a patient who waited too long for a treatment that may have changed their life. We are solving that problem end-to-end on a single platform with AI.
WHO WE ARE
We are two technical co-founders with 30+ years of combined experience in AI and digital health. But this company started somewhere personal.
We entered the US clinical research market with no commercial background and no local network. We figured it out. We attended conferences, got into rooms, built credibility, and closed paying customers.
We built the only end-to-end Agentic AI platform in this space, covering patient identification through recruitment in a single workflow. Our clinical LLM has been peer-reviewed and published. Our platform integrates with CTMS and EHR systems and can be deployed inside hospital cloud environments.
We have paying customers. We have pilots converting. What we do not have is the commercial architecture that turns those early signals into a repeatable, scalable, fundable motion. That is the role.
THE ROLE
This is not a sales hire. It is the person who owns the entire commercial engine.
You will be a member of the executive team with full decision rights over the commercial motion: ICP definition, channel strategy, sales process, pipeline architecture, forecast methodology, and first downstream hire criteria. You make commercial decisions in collaboration with the founding team.
You are the face of Srotas to customers, partners, and investors in this market. The person who joins us at this stage will have shaped a commercial engine from first principles and will carry a real equity stake in what we build together.
FIRST 90 DAYS
You have mapped every active conversation in the pipeline. Each has a probability, a next action, and a decision. You know which opportunities are real and which are not.
You have conducted enough direct discovery conversations to produce a defensible point of view on ICP, buying process, and product fit. You can name the customer types who are most likely to buy, explain why, and back it with what you heard in the field.
You have defined ICP with specificity: which site types, which therapeutic areas, and which sponsor profiles. Equally important: which ones are not a fit and why.
You have documented the sales process from first contact through pilot close, including stages, decision criteria, common objections, and where deals stall.
You have a pilot pipeline. Agreed, pilots with start dates and defined success criteria, not conversations about pilots. The number is yours to set based on what you learn from the market.
You have produced the first draft of the GTM playbook: what channels are working, what messaging lands, and what the buyer journey looks like in practice.
FIRST 12 MONTHS
You have a tested, documented outbound motion built from real conversion data at each stage, not from assumptions.
You have a revenue forecast built bottom-up from actual pipeline, conversion rates, and sales cycle data. When leadership or investors ask how we get to the next milestone, you answer with data.
You have turned the commercial motion into a repeatable model: validated, documented, and ready to scale.
You have made a recommendation on the first commercial hire below you. You know specifically who you need, why. You have not hired them until you are certain.
HOW YOU’LL BE MEASURED
90 days: Active pilot pipeline established. ICP defined. The sales process is documented from first contact through pilot close.
6 months: Validated outbound conversion data across at least two channels. Clear view of what is working, what is not, and why.
12 months: Repeatable, documented commercial motion. Revenue contribution on track. First downstream hire recommended with a specific rationale.
You own the GTM story and can defend every number in it.
WHO YOU ARE
8+ years in B2B SaaS, digital health, or clinical research with direct US market experience.
You can hold credible discovery conversations with CMOs, VPs of Clinical Operations, and CFOs. You know the difference between a conversation that is progressing and one that is politely stalling.
You have sold to or alongside clinical research sites, CROs, or pharma operations. You understand how these organizations buy.
You think in terms of leading indicators: conversion rate from outreach to meeting, meeting to pilot proposal, and proposal to signed agreement. You track these because you cannot diagnose what is wrong without the data.
You can build a revenue forecast and defend every assumption in it. When the forecast is wrong, you know why and you adjust.
You have strong opinions about what will work and what will not, and the confidence to stand behind them.
You are resourceful. The marketing engine, the full budget, the complete team: none of it exists yet. You are not waiting for it.
You are fluent in HubSpot. Pipeline management, deal stages, activity tracking, and reporting are second nature. You do not need someone to set it up for you.
You use AI tools actively to synthesize field data, pressure-test your thinking, and produce analysis you can defend. If this is not already how you work, you will not keep pace.
Especially relevant backgrounds include:
– Clinical research site operations, CRO commercial roles, or pharma business development
– Digital health platforms with complex B2B buying cycles and multi-stakeholder procurement
– Early-stage healthtech or life sciences companies where you built the commercial motion before anyone else did
COMPENSATION
Base $175K–$200K depending on experience. OTE $250K–$300K. Meaningful equity stake with milestone-based vesting tied to commercial performance, structured to grow as the motion scales toward a Series A.
Path to VP or CRO as the team and revenue scale.
LOCATION
United States required. Frequent customer-facing travel and presence at major industry events expected. Occasional travel to work directly with the founding team.
NOT EVERY BOX?
If you have not done every single thing on this list, but you learn fast, adapt quickly, and apply what you learn, we want to hear from you. Drive, commercial instinct, and the conviction to build something that matters are not teachable. Everything else is.
Other offers great for you!
