What they need
Own mechanical hardware end to end: design, analysis, build and test. Design heavy mechanical components, support systems and infrastructure equipment. Use hand calculations, FEA and CAD to develop and communicate designs. Commission machines on site and troubleshoot designs in the field. Ensure systems meet relevant safety and hazardous-location regulations. Be the first mechanical lead on the ground, building out the function.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 3+ years designing, building and testing hardware. Hands-on fabrication, assembly or testing experience, not screen-only design. Working knowledge of FEA, CAD and hand calculations. Willingness to travel to job sites and work long hours when needed.
