Head of Navigation Engineering

Head of Navigation Engineering | MALAM Division

MALAM Plant, within IAI’s Missile and Space Systems Division, is seeking a Head of Navigation Engineering to lead a team of approximately 25 engineers.

The role includes:

• Defining, leading, and implementing the department’s development activities, including engineering oversight throughout all design stages, leading engineering reviews, and design verification through testing
• Managing work plans and monitoring execution in accordance with project milestones and the plant’s business objectives
• Collaborating with other engineering disciplines, stakeholders, and business units involved in engineering development
• Advancing development methodologies, engineering design processes, and infrastructure within the department’s area of responsibility
• Managing the Navigation Engineering department, comprising approximately 25 engineers
• Reporting directly to the Head of Flight Sciences Administration

What are we looking for?

Requirements:

• Israeli citizenship
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science
• At least 5 years of experience in algorithm development, detailed design, verification, and design validation
• At least 3 years of direct management experience leading a team of 5 or more engineers

Additional Criteria (Advantage):

• Master’s degree or higher in Engineering or Science
• Familiarity with navigation engineering design methodologies and processes
• Experience managing an engineering department in fields related to navigation engineering
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment
