This role is based in Jersey and as such all normal working days must be carried out in Jersey.

Join us as a Head of Offshore Funds Coverage

• Lead the Offshore Funds Coverage teams across Jersey and Guernsey, shaping strategy and driving sustainable growth across a significant portfolio of offshore funds relationships through a high-performing, cross-jurisdictional team
• Own and deepen some of the bank's most strategically important offshore funds relationships, acting as the lead banker for key customers and bringing together the wider bank’s capabilities to support their ambitions
• Use your market profile, sector expertise and commercial judgement to strengthen the bank's position in the offshore funds sector while helping shape future opportunities and growth

What you’ll do

As our Head of Offshore Funds Coverage, you'll lead the Funds Coverage teams across Jersey and Guernsey, translating the wider Funds & Sponsors strategy into clear priorities that deliver strong commercial performance and positive customer outcomes. Reporting to the Executive Business Head, you'll bring valuable market insight, customer perspective and strategic leadership to help shape business priorities and opportunities across both jurisdictions.

Working closely with Coverage, Product, Credit, Risk, Operations and specialist teams, you'll ensure customers benefit from the full breadth of the bank's capabilities. We'll look to you to create a collaborative, high-performing environment that supports growth, strengthens client relationships and delivers a consistently excellent customer experience.

In addition, you’ll be:

• Leading and developing high-performing teams across two jurisdictions, fostering a connected culture centred on performance, development and customer outcomes
• Driving sustainable growth through disciplined origination, effective portfolio management and strong market engagement
• Building and maintaining influential networks across fund sponsors, intermediaries, professional firms and other key market participants
• Representing RBSI at industry forums, professional bodies and stakeholder groups, enhancing the bank's profile and reputation within the offshore funds market
• Bringing market, regulatory and customer insight into business planning, portfolio strategy and investment decisions
• Strengthening future leadership capability and succession across the Offshore Funds Coverage team

The skills you'll need

We're looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record of leading customer-facing teams across multiple jurisdictions. You'll be comfortable operating across different markets, stakeholder groups and regulatory environments, while building high-performing teams that deliver strong commercial and customer outcomes.

You'll also bring the credibility, presence and influence needed to represent the bank externally, develop senior relationships and strengthen our position within the offshore funds market.

You’ll also bring:

• A strong track record of creating high-performing cultures, developing talent and building leadership capability
• Strong relationship management and origination experience, with the ability to influence and build credibility with strategically important customers and stakeholders
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and collaboration skills across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrable commercial judgement balanced by the effective application of risk management disciplines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in complex and evolving environments
