Head of Operations

My client, a leading bank in Hong Kong, is hiring a Head of Operations to oversee cash management and payment operations. He/She will ensure strong operational controls, effective incident management, timely escalation, and high-quality execution of operational processes—while partnering with Technology, Operations Control, Compliance, and Risk to ensure resilience and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational performance for cash management and payment operations, including processing, approvals, validation, exceptions, reconciliation, and reporting.

• Drive continuous improvement in workflows, controls, and operational productivity.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory / audit expectations for payment and cash operations.

• Maintain operational risk assessments, control testing readiness, and evidence documentation.

• Lead incident management for cash/payment operations

Requirements

• Cantonese is Mandatory

• Significant leadership experience in banking operations with strong focus on cash management and payment operations (or closely related payment processing operations).

• Demonstrated expertise in operational risk, incident management, and escalation governance.
