Head, Operational Division

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Operational Officer in preparing the institution business plan and formulating the operations Plan of Action (POA).
• Conduct field visits to assigned branches to oversee field operations and provide necessary support and improvement actions.
• Exchange information with the COO and other departments/units and secure an adequate information flow within the branch operations.
• Support the COO in setting performance targets for branches.
• Develop branch-by-branch working area strategies for targeting potential clients and organization of loan officers.
• Oversee the assessment of new branch opening, ensuring proper target market is there to support profitability within 12 months of operation and that proper supervision is in place for distance of control.
• Oversee the implementation of the internal control systems, ensuring the smooth running of the business and safeguarding the institution’s assets
• Provide timely response to audit reports and monitor implementation of risk & quality assurance and audit findings in the branches.
• Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently and uniformly across all branches.
• Ensure compliance of credit and other business (savings, transfer, etc.) operations to regulatory requirements.

Requirement Competencies

• Bachelor Degree in Management, Economic, Finance & Banking, Accounting, Marketing or others.
• Minimum 4years experience in banking/microfinance operations and management & staff supervisory
• Good understanding of Cambodian banking/microfinance sector.
• Ability to communicate to individual/group in clear, simple terms with collaborative and influential.
• Demonstrate high level of ethical commitment and trustworthiness
