Head, Operations

Reporting into the Director of the Nursing Home, you will lead and oversee facilities management, IT, operations, procurement, risk management, and security across two Nursing Homes and one Senior Care Centre sites. Your responsibilities include ensuring safe, compliant, secure, and efficient operations. You will provide support to the Directors of the Nursing Home in operational planning and harmonising standards through close collaborate to align operational and clinical needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide multi-site operational leadership and coordinate site-based teams.
• Oversee facilities maintenance, vendor management, and environment of care.
• Manage IT infrastructure, vendor support, data protection, and system rollouts.
• Lead security operations, incident response, and vendor contracts.
• Implement risk management, compliance, audit preparation, and business continuity.
• Lead procurement processes and maintain records/documentation.
• Drive operational continuity, audit readiness, business continuity, and service excellence.
• Manage staff dormitories to provide safe, well-maintained accommodation.
• Foster strong teamwork and stakeholder partnerships, especially with nursing leadership.

Requirements

• Degree/diploma in Operations, Facilities, IT, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 - 7 years relevant experience in healthcare or ILTC operations.
• Strong knowledge of facilities, IT, security, procurement, and risk management.
• Experience managing multi-site operations and leading teams.
• Good analytical, organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
