Head Operations

Batching plants, Solid Material Handling and Turnkey Projects

Purpose

Lead end-to-end operations covering engineering coordination, design, procurement, manufacturing, project execution, erection, commissioning & customer handover, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, service, cost control and profitability.

Responsibilities

· Lead execution of custom ordered Batching Plants, Solid Material Handling and Turnkey Projects.

· Integrate Engineering, Design, Procurement, Manufacturing, Projects, Quality and Site Execution.

· Drive project schedule, capacity planning and timely resource allocation.

· Ensure manufacturing productivity, performance, quality and operational cost control.

· Monitor project cost, margins, material availability and execution problems.

· Lead critical customer complaints, recovery plans and commissioning issues.

· Evaluate vendor performance and control on long-lead materials.

· Drive standardization, productivity improvement and reduction of rework.

· Lead operational managers, production and site teams; manage performance and capability development.

· Establish operational KRA’s and conduct regular performance reviews with senior management.

· Ensure Quality, statutory compliance across factory and project sites.

KRA’s

· On-time project delivery, Project margin, cost control, Manufacturing schedule adherence

· Engineering & procurement readiness, Productivity & capacity utilization, Rework or NCR reduction

· Customer satisfaction & timely commissioning, Inventory, WIP control, Safety performance, Team effectiveness

Candidate Profile

· Engineering degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Mechatronics or related discipline.

· 20+ years of relevant experience with considerable operational leadership responsibility.

· Strong exposure to material handling, capital equipment, industrial equipment, automation or turnkey projects.

· Proven experience in custom made equipment / project-based manufacturing.

· Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects and cross-functional teams.

· Strong exposure to manufacturing, project execution, site installation and commissioning.

· Administrative system experience with managers / engineers.

· Strong commercial understanding of project costing, margin protection and operational cost control.

· Must have ownership of Order Handover → Engineering → Design → Procurement → Manufacturing → Dispatch → Erection → Commissioning → Customer Satisfaction → Services

Pay: From ₹1,500,000.00 per year
