Head Project Management

Role & responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of structural steel and fabrication projects.
• Drive project delivery within defined Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery (SQCD) parameters.
• Oversee project planning, engineering coordination, procurement, fabrication, QA/QC, dispatch and erection support.
• Monitor project schedules, productivity, resource utilization and project costs.
• Manage coordination with customers, consultants, EPC contractors and third-party inspection agencies.
• Identify project risks and develop effective mitigation, recovery and contingency plans.
• Drive cost optimization, process improvement and operational excellence.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing project management team.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, technical and contractual requirements.

Desired Experience & Skills

• 1520+ years of relevant experience in steel fabrication, structural steel, heavy engineering or EPC projects.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale and complex fabrication projects.
• Strong expertise in project planning, execution, cost control, contract management and quality management.
• Sound knowledge of fabrication, welding, NDT, blasting & painting processes.
• Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera, SAP/ERP and MS Excel.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent customer orientation with strong commercial and business acumen.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects within committed timelines.
