Preferred candidate profile

Demonstrated success in delivering complex MEP-intensive infrastructure projects with full P&L accountability. - Experience working with global hyperscalers or international clients such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, Meta, or similar organizations is highly desirable. - Africa project exposure or experience managing multinational stakeholders and global supply chains is MANDATORY.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Leadership & Delivery -

Lead the complete lifecycle of turnkey Data Center EPC projects, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and final handover. - Drive the successful execution of hyperscale, colocation, and edge Data Center projects while ensuring timely delivery, quality, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

Engineering & Technical Excellence - Oversee the delivery and integration of critical MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical infrastructure, UPS, diesel generators, substations, cooling systems, and mission-critical utilities. - Ensure compliance with international Data Center standards, including Uptime Institute, TIA-942, NFPA, NBC, and LEED/IGBC requirements. - Collaborate with global consultants, OEMs, and technology partners to implement advanced cooling and power technologies.

Commercial & Financial Management - Own the project execution P&L and drive profitability through effective cost control, contract management, change order administration, and risk mitigation. - Monitor project cash flow, resource utilization, CAPEX, and project financial performance. - Present project reviews to executive leadership, investors, and key clients.

Supply Chain & Stakeholder Management - Lead strategic procurement and long-lead equipment sourcing with global suppliers. - Manage relationships with developers, consultants, subcontractors, statutory authorities, and key stakeholders. - Ensure best-in-class Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards across all project sites.
