In this role, you will join an internationally operating pharmaceutical company with a growing manufacturing site.

The site has undergone significant development in recent years, with commercial production starting in 2024. As manufacturing operations continue to grow, the company is looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of Quality to lead and further develop its Quality organization.

This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for an established team, strengthen quality processes and actively contribute to the ongoing development of a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing site.

What will your activities as "Head of Quality (gn)" involve?

• Overall leadership and development of the Quality organization, covering Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality Engineering, Qualification and Validation.
• Direct management of four team leaders, with the potential for further expansion of the organizational structure.
• Further development of the existing Quality team, strengthening capabilities, introducing new ideas and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable GMP requirements and international regulatory standards.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of quality systems, processes and operational procedures within a growing manufacturing environment.
• Leading the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits and regulatory inspections, including FDA inspections.
• Close collaboration with the Site Head and cross-functional manufacturing teams to ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.
• Working closely with the Global Quality organization in the US, including direct reporting to the global Quality leadership.
• Supporting ongoing site development, production expansion and the implementation of new manufacturing and packaging capabilities.

What qualifications should you have as a "Head Quality (gn)"?

• Several years of professional experience in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Quality Control or Quality Management within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience, ideally as Head of Quality, Head of QA, Head of QC or in a comparable senior Quality management position.
• Experience in leading, developing and motivating teams, combined with the ability to challenge existing structures and implement improvements.
• Solid understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with GMP audits and regulatory inspections. Familiarity with FDA requirements would be particularly advantageous.
• A hands-on, pragmatic and solution-oriented leadership style with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate confidently within an international organization and collaborate with global stakeholders.
• Fluent German and very good English communication skills, including the confidence to participate in international meetings and regulatory audits.
