Head Site QA/ QC

Role & responsibilities

1. Provide overall leadership, governance, and strategic direction to the Quality function across all projects and regions.
2. Define and implement the organizations Quality vision, policies, standards, and systems aligned with international best practices and ISO frameworks.
3. Act as the custodian of quality excellence, ensuring consistency, reliability, and superior delivery outcomes across diverse asset classes.
4. Partner with senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders to embed quality as a core organizational value.
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging technology, innovation, and lessons learned from projects.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

1. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, codes, standards, and client-specific quality obligations.
2. Establish strong internal controls, documentation systems, and audit readiness across projects.
3. Proactively identify quality risks and implement mitigation strategies at organizational and project levels.
4. Support dispute resolution and claims management by providing quality-related insights and documentation.

Operational

1. Oversee development, implementation, and monitoring of Project Quality Plans across all projects.
2. Ensure robust quality assurance and quality control systems are in place and effectively implemented.
3. Review tender documentation, contracts, and specifications from a quality and constructability perspective.
4. Lead internal and external quality audits and ensure timely closure of observations and corrective actions.
5. Evaluate supplier, contractor, and vendor performance to ensure alignment with defined quality standards.
6. Monitor quality KPIs and dashboards, analyze trends, and implement improvement strategies.
7. Ensure quality compliance across civil, structural, finishing, faade, MEP, and external development works.
8. Promote adoption of modern construction technologies, innovative materials, and best practices to enhance quality outcomes.

Preferred candidate profile

BE / BTech Civil Engineering

Postgraduate qualification in Quality Management / Construction Management preferred

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in construction and project management
• At least 810 years in a senior leadership role within Quality
• Extensive experience in large-scale commercial, mixed-use, industrial, or infrastructure projects
• International exposure is an added advantage
