Head Technician (Haulage)

• Oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repair of all haulage trucks.

• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and downtime.

• Ensure all vehicles meet safety, regulatory, and operational standards.

• Diagnose mechanical issues and guide repair teams on solutions.

• Supervise workshop operations and ensure quality control on repairs.

• Plan and coordinate daily haulage activities, ensuring timely deliveries.

• Monitor fuel usage, driver performance, and route efficiency.

• Lead and train mechanics, drivers, and technical staff.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and technical workshops.

• Ensure adherence to transport regulations, road safety laws, and company policies.

• Maintain documentation for vehicle licensing, insurance, and inspections.

• Prepare and manage budgets for fleet operations and repairs.

• Analyze operational costs and implement strategies to reduce expenses.
