Head Waiter

DETAILED TASK and/or EXPECTED OUTPUT

 I. CLIENTS

Anticipate and address customers’ needs through attentiveness and active use of peripheral vision

Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor even after guests have billed out; provide total “malasakit” experience from touchpoint to farewell to create customer loyalty and get feedback from guests in order to ensure satisfaction

II. FOH

Lead by example and provide exceptional service to guests, setting a positive and professional tone for the waitstaff.

III. Administrative

Prepare weekly shift/rotation of waitstaff; monitor attendance and proper grooming of staff

Supervise and oversee bar supplies, cleanliness, upkeep, inventory; ensure par stocks are updated

Train incoming waitstaff in accordance with Esmeralda standards

Initiate cost-cutting measures by monitoring usage of A/C units and lights in function rooms and restrooms

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

▪ Strong communication skills

▪ Excellent customer service skills, as well as leadership

▪ Strong organizational and time management skills

▪ Possessing strong multitasking skills; being able to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

▪ Highly responsible and reliable

▪ Detail oriented and structured

▪ With background on Food and Beverage and Food Hygiene certification fields and/or Hospitality are preferred and highly valued

▪ Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Food and Beverages field; fine-dining setting is a plus

▪ Degree in Hospitality Management is highly valued
