Head Waiter / Waitress

We are seeking a friendly and professional Head Waiter/ Waitress to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills, a strong understanding of food and beverage service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalised service throughout their visit
• Take accurate orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Serve food and beverages in a courteous and timely manner
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and addressing any special requests or concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, condiments, and utensils
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
• Adhere to food safety standards and health regulations at all times
• Assist with basic food preparation or side duties as required during quieter periods
• Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanour
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments in accordance with company procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential; Company standards training will be provided for suitable candidates
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques
• Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine passion for guest services and creating memorable dining experiences
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required

Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour
