Health & Safety Advisor

Ramelius Resources is an ASX-listed gold producer with operating mines and exploration projects across Western Australia. We are on an exciting growth path, targeting 500,000 ounces of gold per annum by 2030, and that ambition creates real opportunity for our people.

We are growing, and we want you to grow as we grow. With a diverse mix of operations, projects and mining methods, you can build experience across different sites, challenges and stages of the mining lifecycle. Whether you are deepening your capability in your current role or stepping into something new, you will gain practical experience, broader exposure and the chance to grow with a business whose ambition matches yours.

At Ramelius, our success is built on people who feel valued, supported and inspired to grow. We are proud of our strong safety culture, collaborative teams and genuine sense of belonging across our sites. There has never been a better time to join us.

What We Offer

• 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth to our Mt Magnet operations
• Competitive salary with performance bonuses and additional benefits
• Broad exposure across open pit, underground, processing and mobile plant in a single role
• Strong support for your career, development and wellbeing

Role Overview
Reporting to the HSE Superintendent, you will join the Mt Magnet Health and Safety team, working alongside supervisors, crews and our Safety and Emergency Services Officers.

This is a hands-on, field-based role. You will spend your days in the work areas, not behind a desk, having the conversations that keep people safe across the processing plant, open pit, underground and mobile plant operations.

You will be part of a close-knit site team and will lead investigations, follow up hazards and help our supervisors build practical controls that work in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ICAM investigations from notification through to report and recommendations
• Manage hazard and event records in INX, and follow actions through to closure
• Complete workplace inspections, audits and verification of critical controls
• Support the Mine Safety Management System, including procedures, risk assessments and management plans
• Work with contractors to confirm their safety systems and monitor activity on site

About You
We're looking for someone who brings:

• At least two years in a similar health and safety advisory role in mining
• Exposure across surface and underground mining operations, with processing experience highly regarded
• An ICAM qualification and real experience leading investigations
• A health and safety qualification such as a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
• Experience using INX, or a similar safety management system
• A current West Australian C Class (manual) driver's licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance

Next Steps
We can't wait to hear from you!
