Health Care Assistant

The Avenue Nursing Home is a bespoke, purpose-built, family-run nursing home located in Clayton, Bradford, providing exceptional care within a beautiful residential setting. Our state-of-the-art, 64-bed luxury care home delivers the highest standards of personalised nursing, residential, and dementia care, ensuring every resident receives compassionate, person-centred support.

As our home continues to grow, we are seeking dedicated and experienced Care Assistants to join our team on either day shifts (7:30am to 8:00pm) or night shifts (7:30pm to 8:00am), including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care that promotes dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individual rights, whilst supporting residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. You will also assist in meeting residents' nutritional and hydration needs, encouraging choice and independence at all times.

Applicants must have

· a minimum of one year's experience working as a Care Assistant within a care home environment.

· Must hold, an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care and/or a recognised Care Certificate.

· Candidates must be able to demonstrate the skills, knowledge, and experience required to excel in the role, whilst possessing excellent manners, a caring and compassionate nature, strong communication skills, and a flexible approach to work.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
