Health Insurance – Underwriting Operations

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Health Operations Underwriting Associate/Executive to Support health insurance underwriting operations.
• The role involves reviewing insurance Proposals, assessing documentation, coordinating medical requirements, and processing policy Issuance, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review health insurance proposal forms and supporting documents.
• Verify applicant information, medical history, and declarations.
• Coordinate medical tests, tele-underwriting, and document collection.
• Perform preliminary risk assessment as per underwriting guidelines.
• Follow up with customers and branches for pending requirements.
• Support policy issuance, endorsements, and renewal underwriting activities.
• Maintain underwriting records, MIS reports, and operational dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Meet turnaround time (TAT) and service-level agreement (SLA) targets.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of health insurance and underwriting processes.
• Analytical and risk assessment skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and operational systems.
