Ear Solutions Corp. is looking for a motivated, patient-focused Hearing Aid Dispenser to join our growing team in Manhattan, NY.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hearing healthcare professional who wants to combine clinical expertise, modern hearing technology, and exceptional patient care. You will work directly with patients throughout their hearing journey—from understanding their hearing needs to selecting, fitting, programming, and fine-tuning the right hearing solution.

What You’ll Do

As a Hearing Aid Dispenser, you will play an important role in delivering a high-quality patient experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Meet with patients to understand their hearing concerns, communication challenges, lifestyle, and individual needs.
• Conduct hearing tests and evaluations within your permitted scope of practice.
• Discuss hearing results and explain hearing loss and available treatment options in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Recommend appropriate hearing aids and hearing technology based on each patient's needs and preferences.
• Professionally fit, program, adjust, and fine-tune hearing aids.
• Utilize manufacturer-specific hearing aid programming and fitting software.
• Troubleshoot hearing aids, connectivity, accessories, and other technology-related issues.
• Educate patients and family members on proper hearing aid use, cleaning, maintenance, and care.
• Provide follow-up appointments and make programming adjustments to optimize comfort and performance.
• Help patients understand realistic expectations and support them throughout the adaptation process.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and appointment information.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with patients through personalized service and ongoing support.
• Stay informed about new hearing aid technology, products, fitting techniques, and industry developments.
• Work collaboratively with the team to provide a professional and welcoming patient experience.

Required Qualifications

• Valid New York State Hearing Aid Dispenser license or eligibility to practice in New York.
• Experience in hearing aid dispensing, fitting, programming, or patient counseling is preferred.
• Strong understanding of hearing loss and modern hearing aid technology.
• Comfortable working with hearing aid programming and fitting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and patient relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to patients.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and patient-first mindset.

Experience With Hearing Aid Brands

Experience with leading hearing aid manufacturers is highly valued, including:

Oticon | Phonak | Signia | ReSound | Widex | Starkey

Experience with Bluetooth connectivity, hearing aid accessories, remote support, and advanced digital hearing technology is a plus.
