Heat Treatment Operator

### Job Responsibilities

* Operate heat treatment furnaces according to production requirements and work instructions.

* Load and unload materials/parts into and from the furnace safely and correctly.

* Set and monitor furnace temperature, heating time and soaking time according to specified parameters.

* Monitor furnace operation and report any abnormal conditions or equipment problems to the Supervisor.

* Perform quenching and tempering processes according to the required specifications.

* Check and record furnace temperature, process parameters and production information.

* Conduct basic visual inspection of heat-treated parts.

* Perform hardness checking using hardness testing equipment when required.

* Ensure parts are properly identified, arranged and transferred to the next process.

* Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the Heat Treatment area.

* Follow all *SOP, Work Instructions, Quality and Safety requirements*.

* Use PPE and follow safe working practices when handling hot materials and operating furnace equipment.

* Assist with basic furnace cleaning and routine equipment checks.

* Report defective parts, abnormal furnace conditions or process deviations to the Supervisor.

* Perform other duties related to Heat Treatment operations as assigned by the Supervisor.

### Requirements

* Open vacancy to male only.

* Minimum *SPM* or equivalent.

* Can spoke and write in Malay and English

* Previous experience in Heat Treatment or manufacturing environment is an advantage.

* Willing to learn and follow Heat Treatment procedures and work instructions.

* Able to work in a hot manufacturing environment.

* Physically fit and able to handle production materials.

* Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends or public holidays when required.

* Good discipline, attendance and teamwork.

* Basic understanding of safety and quality requirements.

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
