Heat treatment Technician

·       Develop and optimize heat treatment processes to meet product specifications and quality standards.

·       Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, production, and quality teams to implement new technologies and validate processes through trials and metallurgical analysis.

·       Establish and control process parameters, including documentation of process flow, control plans, and work instructions.

·       Create and standardize operating instructions for furnace operations, material handling, quenching, and cooling to ensure consistency and repeatability.

·       Lead PFMEA activities to identify process risks, implement mitigation actions, and continuously update risk assessments based on feedback and audits.

·       Ensure safety and regulatory compliance by enforcing protocols, conducting audits, and training personnel in safe heat treatment practices.

·       Oversee equipment maintenance and reliability, including preventive/predictive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair coordination.

·       Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, product quality, equipment uptime, and operational excellence.

Qualification:

·      Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

·       Strong knowledge of heat treatment processes and metallurgical principles.

·       Experience with PFMEA, process control, and quality management systems.

·       Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, ISO, etc.) and environmental regulations.

·       Familiarity with NADCAP standard will be advantage.

·       Hands-on experience with furnace operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
