Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Heating and Air Conditioning Engineer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The engineer will design, review, and optimize HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing HVAC layouts and calculations, selecting equipment, and producing technical documentation and drawings in coordination with other engineering disciplines. The role involves overseeing installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, as well as coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and clients to resolve technical issues. The engineer will also support maintenance planning, performance evaluations, and continuous improvement of system efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in HVAC Engineering and HVAC principles, with the ability to apply industry standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in HVAC Design and system sizing, including ductwork, piping, and equipment selection.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC installation, Maintenance & Repair, and system troubleshooting.
• Competence in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing and modifying HVAC drawings and layouts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience in building services or MEP projects, preferably within the GCC or similar regulatory environments.
• Knowledge of local and international codes (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA, relevant UAE regulations) and safety standards.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, project plans, and tender documents, and prepare clear reports.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
