Self-Employed Heating Engineers – Air Source Heat Pumps

AirToHeat is an MCS certified heat pump installer covering London and the Home Counties. We're growing fast in one of the busiest sectors in construction, and we need reliable heating engineers to help us keep up with demand.

If you're a self-employed plumbing and heating engineer looking for steady work, prompt payment and a way into renewables, we'd like to hear from you. You don't need Gas Safe registration or a heat pump qualification.

The work

• Installing, commissioning support and servicing of air source heat pumps
• Radiator upgrades and pipework runs
• Wiring heating controls
• Unvented hot water cylinders
• Underfloor heating systems
• Fault finding

What you'll need

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
• Water Regulations qualification
• Unvented (G3) qualification – desirable, not essential
• At least 2 years' experience
• Your own van, tools and test equipment
• Public liability insurance
• UTR number / CIS registration
