Heating Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled, fully qualified, Heating Engineer to join our team in North Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various tasks related to heating systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and equipment, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Heating Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that heating systems operate efficiently and safely in residential homes.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating systems, including boilers, radiators.
• Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify issues with heating systems.
• Utilise hand tools, power tools, and equipment for various tasks.
• Perform plumbing tasks related to domestic dwellings.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on larger projects, demonstrating effective teamwork.
• Must be Gassafe registered with minimum of 2 years experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems effectively.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Experience in plumbing.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
• A valid driving licence is required. Company van provided
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,043.72-£42,000.00 per year
