Heating Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating Engineer to join our team and deliver exceptional heating solutions across residential and commercial properties. As a Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting heating systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties

• Install, service, and repair a wide range of heating systems including boilers, radiators, thermostats, and heat pumps.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Diagnose faults accurately using specialized tools and mechanical knowledge, then implement effective solutions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to assemble or modify heating components as needed.
• Perform plumbing tasks related to heating systems, including pipe fitting and leak repairs.
• Lift heavy equipment safely during installation or maintenance tasks while adhering to health and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each service call.

Requirements

• Proven experience in heating system installation, maintenance, and repair within residential or commercial settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly work.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices confidently.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to system specifications, and troubleshooting diagnostics.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in confined or elevated spaces.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial driving responsibilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail during inspections and repairs.
