Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist lead installers with the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new construction homes.
- Assist with installing ductwork, flexible duct, supply and return registers, refrigerant lines, condensate drain lines, and other HVAC components.
- Help measure, cut, assemble, seal, and secure ductwork and installation materials according to instructions and specifications.
- Load, unload, transport, and organize equipment, tools, and materials at jobsites.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including proper disposal of jobsite debris.
- Follow directions from lead installers and supervisors while developing the ability to complete assigned tasks independently.
- Learn to properly use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other installation equipment.
- Assist with equipment placement, installation preparation, and final jobsite cleanup.
- Follow company installation procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and applicable safety requirements.
- Pay close attention to measurements, installation details, and overall quality of workmanship.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors regarding job progress, materials, and potential concerns.
- Assist with other HVAC-related duties as assigned.

- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to perform quality work.
- Ability to follow instructions, accept constructive feedback, and learn new skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds, with assistance or equipment when appropriate.
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, unfinished homes, and outdoor environments.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, and rain, when conditions are safe.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, with flexibility for occasional overtime.
- Must provide basic hand tools; a required tool list will be provided upon hire.
- Ability to follow company safety policies and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This position involves physical labor in residential new construction environments. Employees should expect to work in unfinished homes, attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor areas.
Job responsibilities may require frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, lifting, and carrying materials.
Work may involve exposure to dust, dirt, seasonal temperatures, and changing weather conditions. Schedules and working hours may occasionally be adjusted due to weather, jobsite readiness, or project demands.
Expectations & Professional Standards
As a small business, we value employees who take pride in their work and understand that every team member contributes to our company's reputation.
The ideal candidate will:
- Show up on time, prepared, and ready to work.
