Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Duties

• Perform routine maintenance on commercial and residential HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and improve system longevity.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
• Conduct system repairs involving refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical components to restore optimal operation.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide installation and repair work accurately.
• Troubleshoot complex HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems to identify root causes of malfunctions.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs performed for accountability and future reference.
• Ensure compliance with EPA regulations by handling refrigerants responsibly and performing leak detection procedures.
• Assist with building automation system adjustments to optimize energy use and indoor air quality.
• Use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and specialized diagnostic equipment to perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks efficiently.

Skills

• Service technician experience with troubleshooting HVAC/R systems in commercial or residential environments.
• Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, electrical wiring diagrams, and HVAC design principles.
• Mechanical knowledge related to refrigeration cycles, boiler operation, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to perform electrical diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters accurately.
• Skilled in plumbing work associated with HVAC systems including pipe fitting and leak detection.
• Familiarity with building automation systems for climate control management.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
• Valid EPA certification for handling refrigerants is required; additional certifications in HVAC or electrical systems are a plus.
• Proficiency with hand tools and equipment troubleshooting techniques for mechanical systems repair.
• Valid driver’s license suitable for operating company vehicles safely ( driver).

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
