Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Your expertise will help deliver comfortable indoor environments across commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units to ensure efficient operation and prevent system failures.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and troubleshoot refrigeration, mechanical systems, and electrical components.
• Conduct equipment troubleshooting for complex HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems including boilers and building automation systems.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, valves, motors, and electrical wiring while adhering to safety standards.
• Assist with HVAC system upgrades or modifications based on client needs or building requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during field service visits.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction or property maintenance with a focus on HVAC system installation and repair.
• Service technician experience working with HVAC/R systems including refrigeration and air conditioning units.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by skills in plumbing, welding, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately for installation or repair projects.
• Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS), electrical systems, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and mechanical systems repair.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, as well as specialized diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
• Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; a driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for field service roles.
• Knowledge of HVAC system maintenance procedures along with experience in appliance repair or mechanical systems repair is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.

Pay: $26.30 - $35.00 per hour
