Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Your expertise will help create comfortable indoor environments for our clients across various commercial and residential settings. Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and building automation system (BAS) controls to diagnose issues accurately.
• Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems within HVAC equipment using tools such as ohmmeters.
• Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures by diagnosing issues with refrigeration, electrical wiring, mechanical components, or control systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain repairs, provide maintenance recommendations, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Pick up and deliver materials to on site jobs

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC service technician
• Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems and air conditioning units.
• Ability to perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters; familiarity with electrical systems is essential.
• Experience with plumbing related to HVAC applications; knowledge of refrigerants is a plus.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment troubleshooting techniques for mechanical repairs.
• Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC design or electrical diagnostics are advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a company box van safely.

Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 50.0 per week
