Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. Duties

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems and electrical components using hand tools, ohmmeters, and specialized diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity.
• Conduct system inspections, identify problems quickly, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Assist with HVAC system design modifications and upgrades based on client needs or building requirements.
• Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference.

Requirements

• Experience with maintenance and a focus on HVAC system installation and repair.
• Service technician experience with a strong understanding of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems.
• Mechanical knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical diagnostics, plumbing connections, and mechanical systems repair.
• Proficiency with hand tools, electrical testing devices (such as ohmmeters), and troubleshooting equipment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC system maintenance practices, ammonia refrigeration (a plus), and boiler operation is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently in the field as well as part of a team; willingness to respond promptly to service calls across various locations.
