Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

We are looking for an experienced and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This position will diagnose, service, maintain, and repair a variety of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and able to work independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and determine the appropriate repair or service needed.
• Service, repair, and maintain a variety of residential and light commercial equipment, including:
• Furnaces
• Air conditioners
• Boilers
• Rooftop units
• Air handlers
• Mini-split systems
• Heat pumps and related HVAC equipment
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and identify system deficiencies.
• Work with refrigerant systems, including recovery, evacuation, charging, and leak diagnosis as applicable.
• Complete preventative maintenance and system inspections.
• Clearly communicate equipment issues, repair recommendations, and service needs to customers.
• Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and company vehicle.
• Follow all company safety procedures, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes and regulations.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at every job.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience servicing both residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
• EPA 608 Certification preferred.
• Experience handling refrigerants preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, meters, and standard HVAC diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to safely use ladders, including extension ladders.
• Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a variety of environments, including attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, mechanical rooms, and outdoor conditions.
• Must be dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and willing to continue learning new equipment and technologies.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces. Technicians will regularly work outdoors and in varying temperatures and weather conditions. Ladder use, including extension ladders, is required. The ability to lift and carry 75 lbs. is required.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
